I still get hangs that seem to indicate a process called BufferCreator is the culprit. If I disable Java the problem either disappears or happens to infrequently to be a major headache. The problem causes the WPS to hang and Process Commander shows Mozilla in the dreaded state of "Processing T1 exit list". This seems to happen with every release I've tried. I have to reboot (C-A-D) to recover.
