Hi all, A few weeks ago I posted article about "black square" syndrome return. Basically, it reminds me exactly old NS4.6 beta times - when NS hangs, it leaves black, non repainted area on desktop - then only reboot is solution. Relaunch of Mozilla is impossible - not only this application, but whole group of applications - for example after Mozilla hang - I can't launch Netscape. It looks like some graphics subsystem is leaved in wrong state (maybe this subsys used by Windows ported applications - You know Win has different X.Y orthogonals style). Pure PM applications are working well.... Also watchcat tells me always that errant application (Mozilla) is in "Exit T1".
But deleting all plugins seems to be cure - Mozilla then is working very stable. So my suspicion is plugin service in Mozilla, and its handling of traps in plugins. For Java plugin - I havn't any trap info in POPUPLOG.OS2, but for FLASH following trap is in POPUPLOG: 10-29-2001 10:23:15 SYS3175 PID 0045 TID 0001 Slot 009a E:\OS2APL\NS50\MOZILLA.EXE c0000005 1eab6caa P1=00000001 P2=10360604 P3=XXXXXXXX P4=XXXXXXXX EAX=00000002 EBX=00000003 ECX=10360000 EDX=00b73940 ESI=01c5c704 EDI=10360000 DS=0053 DSACC=f0f3 DSLIM=ffffffff ES=0053 ESACC=f0f3 ESLIM=ffffffff FS=150b FSACC=00f3 FSLIM=00000030 GS=0000 GSACC=**** GSLIM=******** CS:EIP=005b:1eab6caa CSACC=f0df CSLIM=ffffffff SS:ESP=0053:0012f0a8 SSACC=f0f3 SSLIM=ffffffff EBP=0012f0bc FLG=00212206 DIVE.DLL 0001:00006caa -- cYa, 3.14iotr/2 Dobry programista wiesza się z programem....
