Let me rephrase per the comments :) If you have NPOJI6.DLL in your plugins directory and you are experiencing a lot of hangs, please remove that DLL to determine whether or not it is Java that is causing the hangs.
Hangs are very difficult to diagnose and the more precise information we have about them, the easier they are to find. Incidentally, we dropped a MAJOR fix in a couple days ago for a leaking region problem. This should fix the PM corruption people have been seeing. Mike Kaply IBM
