Whenever mozilla hangs (usually on a site with java or flash), I can still use other programs but can't kill or close mozilla. The only way to use mozilla again is to reboot. After rebooting mozilla can take between 5 to 10 minutes(!) to start up which includes constant hard disk use. This occurs with both milestone releases and nightlies. It is interesting to note that after a reboot the mailnews compose window will search our ldap server four or five times for addresses then stops until the next reboot (even restarting mozilla doesn't fix it).
