I had installed various language versions of the IBM-branded browser, the last being the German version. The MOZILLA_HOME environment variable is F:\OS2WEB_GER
If I disable the xWorkPlace xCenter and start Mozilla 0.9.6 from a command prompt, Mozilla runs, but menu items are in German -- an annoyance rather than a disaster, but I would still prefer to have them in English. If I zap out the MOZILLA_HOME environment variable, Mozilla 0.9.6 starts, I see the splash screen, but then the place where the splash screen was becomes black. Process Commander shows a running program "MOZILLA.EXE (confirm migration)" using just a few % of CPU time, but the Process Details window shows the infamous "Processing exitlist..." (IOW, Mozilla has hung while trying to terminate), and the only way to recover is to reboot. Any idea how I can get Mozilla 0.9.6 either to migrate an existing profile or to let me create a new one? -=- Alan
