FYI ... There was mention on the eCS mailing list that the latest nightly took care of the strange font problems ... (not the one related to the Times New Roman font that caused a PCL crash)
Anyway I downloaded the 12/03 nightly and fired it up ... First thing I did was go into "Preferences" and change the Fonts ... Clicked OK and double-checked the changes ... they hadn't held ... Hmmm ... Goto "Preferences" again ... redo the font setup ... click OK .. Again the changes didn't hold ... at this point I was pretty frustrated but I thought "one-more-time" ... Wouldn't you know it ??? Third time's the charm ... Set the fonts for Tahoma and clicked OK ... This time they held ... But now I'm nervous about setting anything else via Preferences ... Will the fonts revert back ??? Oh well ... at least for now I have Mozilla displaying pages the way I desire ... Thanks Mike and Crew !!! Greg PS - Here's hoping the next milestone doesn't "undo" the font setup code ...
