Mike,

many thanks for zour advice.

Indeed there was a mixup in prefs.js. Entries pointed to
F:\\NETSCAPE\\Mozilla\\Wolfi\\nka9fj9e.slt instead of
F:\\NETSCAPE\\MozProfile\\Wolfi\\nka9fj9e.slt

and I also found another wrong statement
F:\\NETSCAPE\\WARPZILLA\\mail.server.server1.realhostname");  instead
of
F:\\NETSCAPE\\MozProfile\\Wolfi\\nka9fj9e.slt\\Mail\\mail.uni-1.de");

After correcting this, everything is showed again like it should be.

Is there already an option to permanently store the sorting order of
emails in the M&N client for each account individually to finally get
rid of this annoying preset?

Regards
Wolfi
