to get around in, cutting and pasting whole folders was awkward, whole
contents of folders disappeared for no apparent reason and getting a
particular folder recognised as my personal tool bar folder had to be
kinda "forced".

When pasting in the item being pasted it goes AFTER the item you
paste onto. If you paste a folder onto a folder expecting the pasted
folder to follow the one being pasted onto, you don't get that result -
the pasting folder goes *inside* the folder you're pasting onto. You
thus have to do some pasting and repasting the various entries to get
the folder into a desired order say alphabetical.

While mucking around like that the whole content of one of the folder
disappeared! It happened to be my one with all OS/2 links. I managed
to get the stuff back in by pasting in from a backup copy using EPM on a
copy of the one I was working on and then "importing" that after first
deleting all entries - if you see what I mean without any more words ...

I couldn't cut and paste from the netscape bookmark.

To get my personal tool bar folder to be recognised as such, I first
had to get some other folder recocognised and then getting the one I
wanted recognised. If I just tried clicking View | Set as personal tool
bar folder, nothing happened.

Hope these "affordance" (usability ergonomics) shortcomings can be fixed.
