Apparently each one of these requires its own copy of this file, plus one per user. If the one(s) in the Users50 subdirectory is/are the operative one(s), what is the function of the copies local to versions and to users? Do they do anything? I have other questions: Since none of the localstore files has any attribute other than A, it would seem that all the versions have lost their ability to update the master localstore simultanously. How is that possible? I would venture a guess myself, but I am not on the Mozilla team, and not even a very competent programmer, so I have to ask you. Do you agree that this problem demonstrates a bug? It looks to me that this is the case, especially since the reason for the phenomenon seems to be a mystery. Should I have directed my query to some other person or place? This NG was the first place that popped into my mind; I hope you will tell me who I should have approached. The localstore files are in plain text, so they should be editable manually. But the window dimenstions appear many times in each file, which makes things a little more confusing than they would be if there were only one occurence. Can you direct me to a straightforward description of the format of these files? Would you like to see one or more of these files?
