I tried to see the Visible Human applet on Netscape 4.61 (Java1.1.8),
and got the error message "Could not load applet". Mozilla 0.9.6 (Java
1.3) told me "Applet not initialized". Being rejected by a rather wide
variety of browser software, my guess is that the applet embodies some
non-standard code, and probably is written with Microsoft
"enhancements". It would be interesting to see if it is loadable with
Internet Explorer and an MS version of Java.
