Hi Don,
I cannot tell you about IBM's Web browser5.0 because unfortunately I
don't have access to SWC. But knowing that it is build on a trunk
version quite some ago, the nightlies offer some features that I don't
want to miss any more (e.g tabs), even if from time to time some
already working things may break again for some days until they are
fixed again.
But that normally isn't a problem. I just copy the new/stepback
version over my existing files and delete the "component.reg" file in
the Mozilla director. I also have a statement "SET
MOZILLA_HOME=F:\Netscape\MozProfile", that points outside my
F:\Netscape\Warpzilla\ structure, to keep account and user related
data (settings, mail, news) apart from the program code.

I only can suggest, give the 20020110 version a try and follow the
postings in this forum. Because the later builds seem to suffer again
from some fallbacks ;-(, just wait with later builds, until they are
reprted to get rid of their problems again.

You also can install WEB 5.0 in a separate directory and use them
alternating, sharing the data in
"MOZILLA_HOME=F:\Netscape\MozProfile", to find out what you like more.

Regards
Wolfi
