I am able to change the SMTP server using the following steps: 1) Open Mailnews 2) From the Edit menu, select "Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings..." 3) Select "Outgoing Server (SMTP)" on the left hand panel 4) Here, you should be able to edit the SMTP server.
