The FLASH5 hang can apparently by remedied by making sure you have disk cache enabled 
under advanced. I had the hang and put 1000 in the 
value and now it is working for me.

This was verified using the 02/11 nightly.
  (which, by the way would not keep the value I put in, I had to hand edit the *.js 
file to get it to stick)
