Hi Henry;

Looks like I was going off of "blind faith" as I got DDINSTAL to put 
those lines in my config.sys.

I removed the OSBOHCD$ since I've got a UHCI USB chipset, rebooted but
to the same effect as before.  Just out of curiosity I tried to then 
add the USBOHCD.SYS, but of course they failed to load.  (At least 
confirming that I was after the right chipset).

Perhaps it could even be that my motherboard manufacturer's are not 
exactly "on-spec" with what the drivers expect, too, or conflicts with
other hardware I have.

At this point in time USB is just an optional-extra for me so it's not
something I'll miss by having it REM'd out.
