It uses the startup directory as the download directory. I changed my icon
properties to have my download directory as the startup directory, and then
mozilla wouldn't start (since I don't have the DLL's in the LIBPATH). So, I
changed the icon to run netscape.exe.cmd, which is just a little batch file that sets
beginlibpath to the bin directory and adds it to the path, then starts Mozilla. If
this
cmd file is in the path, you can run netscape.exe from the command line and have
Mozilla come up (assuming there isn't another netscape.exe earlier in the path).
