Hi2all, this is not the same Inbox problem as reported by others, at least it seems to have none of the symptoms....
I have been using Mozilla in various incarnations since January, with very few problems, and nothing of major concern.... I have installed numerous drops without any problems whatsoever, this is a first for me... Recently I had a problem, I believe is assosciated with Javascript, as input boxes for my bank access where no longer visible... so I tried Sun mornings build.... This is pretty much exactly what happened.... I deleted everything except Mozilla and plugin directories, and then unzipped the new drop into the Mozilla location... exactly as I have done numerous times before, with no problems.... I then fired up Mozilla, and everything ran normally, the mail window came up, new messages where downloaded.... I selected the first unread message, read it, pressed the delete button, the message was deleted and the next message was highlighted, but did not appear in the body window..... I went to my second mail box, and nothing was listed in the subject nor body windows, although it had 4 unread indicated, plus there are something like 20 read but not filed messages.... I went back to my first mail box, and same thing, no subjects, and no bodies.... I sent myself a test message, which appeared in the sent folder, but never appeared in my inboxes...also I might add that all my folders are behaving normally... only the inboxes are affected When I press 'get mail' I normally see a brief blue barber sign appear at the bottom of the screen, with an indication of the connection duration... currently this no longer happens... I have checked and verified all of my settings.. nothing changed for months... I tried regressing to earlier builds... 0323 0321 0310 0303 and 0.9.9 no effect... It appears that 0324 did something to my inbox files, such that now I can no longer access them, the files themselves appear to be intact, with dates of 0324 and 9.18pm which is correct as far as the last download is concerned... Any suggestions as to what I might try in order to restore access to my Inboxes..? regards, -- Britt - [EMAIL PROTECTED] eCs + SMP OS/2 v4.51 ProNews/2 PMView2000 Watcom C++ check it out: http://www.ecomstation.com
