No, it looks fine on my machine too. There is no over-lap, and when I select the characters, it still looks fine. I am using the TRUETYPE.DLL packaged with MCP1.
PMUNIF.DLL is from 10-19-00, and btw, I do not seem to have tnrmt30.ttf on my system??? (Though Times New Roman MT30 is listed in my font palette). I have tnrmt30.cmb and also tnrwt_*.ttf (for Japanese, Simplified and Traditional Chinese) and also MTSANS*.TTF (which is another unicode font that came with MCP1). I am using whatever default font is used for UTF-8 in Warpzilla, it's either Times New Roman or Monospace Sans Duo or whatever it's called.
