Under RC1, it worked without a problem.
This sounds very much like a known problem. It occurs if any invalid theme is *installed* (not just selected). A theme which may have been valid once may no longer be valid due to changes in Moz. I don't have the bugzilla number to hand right now, sorry. Graham.
