Don't know if it was *supposed* to work for registry.dat, but I've been using it for a year to find out "in one swoop" what the name of the .slt directory is, so I can go there and customize prefs.js, etc., etc. Lately I'm reduced to 'type mozilla\registry.dat', which gives output that doesn't look nearly as nice. HOWEVER, if regexport is for exporting component.reg, on RC3 (and on trunk) it gives me __exactly__ the same error message (as listed above) when I type in 'regexport component.reg'. mikus
