I have now gone back to the release version or 1.0, but I still have had incoming messages with the same problem as before. I have also seen the message:
"The file <aaaaaaa>/Inbox?number=<nnnnn> cannot be found. Please check the location and try again." when I try to delete a message or move it to its correct folder. I have sometimes seen a series of messages get written to the appropriate folder (as specified by filter rules), followed by an error message that the (same) folder cannot be written to. I have also gotten error messages when trying to send a message -- that the file nsmail.tmp cannot be written to. I check the TEMP directory, find that the file nsmail.tmp consists of the message I have just wrtten and am trying to send, delete it, then send the message successfully. When I start mozilla, I am sometimes offered two profiles from which to select, sometimes five -- the extra three being ones I thought I had deleted a while ago. I have always deleted the whole mozilla directory tree before installing a different version (whether newer or older) but have not deleted the files in the separate MozillaProfiles directory. -=- Alan Javier Pedemonte wrote: > Have you done anything other than update to later versions of the build? > Have you touched your profile directory at all?
