Add this to your config.sys: SET MOZILLA_HOME=D:\MOZPROFILES
Change the drive to where ever you keep your applications. This will
keep your profiles out of harms way when you update your versions. Be
sure to actually create this folder. Reboot to apply the change in
config.sys. Now take the downloaded file and place into a folder named
Mozilla and place it on your application or browser volume, but not the
same folder that has mozprofiles. Unzip the downloaded file with the
command from a command line 'unzip mozilla-os2-vacpp-10.zip'. Remove
the extra period in the file name. Change to the bin flder and run the
mozfold.cmd. This will create a folder on the desktop with several
icons. Run anyone of these icons and it will start the profile
migration from your Netscape profile. When it finishes, you have to
start the mozilla program again. If everything is okay, then your next
task is installing plugins. Copy the contents of Netscape Plugin folder
over and delete the Java plugin. There are some others that don't work,
so visit this web page for the exact information.

Now you are ready to install Java 1.3, which is required for Mozilla.
In the java131 folder is a ns folder. In there is a insmzplg.cmd file.
Run it. If you don't see this cmd file, run mzplugin.exe and extract
it. You really need to do this as it sets several items in the ini.

If you have an AMD K6 chip or any processor before the P III came out,
you'll need to run the d:\java131\jre\bin\jctrlpnl.cmd and on the
advance page deselect the JIT compiler to disable it. Some stupid
know-it-all at IBM Hursley decided that the JIT is only useful on fast
processors: P III/Athon and later, one of those machines that run at GHz
speeds and so compiled the JIT using those op-codes.

Good Luck.
