There seems to be a DNS problem. Using the URL above my system opens to connections: 422 STREAM ftp..21 56221 24.199.147.129 ESTABLISH 423 STREAM osu-nms..192 56222 24.25.28.128 SYN_SENT The first, with port 21 - the control connection, is the one that ftp.dacdigital.com resolves to. The reverse resolution is to rrcs-midsouth-24-199-147-129.biz.rr.com. The second one, the data connection, resolves to rdu25-28-128.nc.rr.com. My machine waits close to forever for this connection to be established. Is your system behind some firewall, so that the PASV command is needed? Is your system multihomed with more than one IP address? Did the address change in the past and did you reconfigure your server accordingly? -- Bye/2 Meinolf
