The user is not supposed to edit prefs.js in Mozilla. For custom
preferences without a UI to set instead put the desired pref into file
user.js. Mozilla need not be closed down to do this.
Some other possible UA settings to keep site designers confused:
user_pref("general.useragent.override","Nutscrape/0.9 [en] (CP/M; U; 8
bit)");
user_pref("general.useragent.vendor", "Nutscrape");
user_pref("general.useragent.vendorSub", "0.9");
user_pref("general.useragent.override","Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686;
en-US; rv:1.0.0)");
user_pref("general.useragent.override","Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows
NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.1a)");

". . . we live in an age of paper religion. We believe more in issuing
paper pronouncements on all subjects than in living our faith. The paper
pronouncements of America's once Christian establishment are not many.
Hence, it is assumed that the United States was never Christian."
