Franz, It is good for initial setup...but then the current method falls on its face. Try this: Add SET MOZILLA_HOME=x:\whereever in your config.sys Reboot Upzip mozilla-zzz.zip in the program location of your choice Run it and let it mirgrate your settings from 4.61 Change SET MOZILLA_HOME= to another location Reboot Move profile directory to new location as set in config.sys ...and voila, it doesn't work I have searched high and low for whatever is causing this . What we need: - An easily moveable profiles directory - this profile directory is simply data and data should be movable - Mozilla to stay far away from config.sys and the system ini files Anyway, I do appreciate the effort and Mozilla is really becoming a fine product (which is why I'm here in the first place) but this is a stumbling block that needs to be addessed.
