If there is no registry.dat file, shouldn't Moz offer to convert an old profile? > I'm using the 2002080508 quite happily. I tried 2002080708, but, it crashed when I dragged the mouse over a couple different pages. Mike's usual response to this sort of thing is to delete the component.reg file. And the RDF files in bin\chrome. I tried Mozilla with MOZILLA_HOME set to a different directory the other day. It prompted me to migrate one of my Netscape profiles, and created a new registry.dat. -- David Forrester davidfor at internode dot on dot net http://www.os2world.com/djfos2
