Proxy problems with 1.1b

Hi.

I have been using Smartcache as a proxy for some years now. Starting 
with Mozilla 1.1b I experienced problems accessing web sites. I always 
get a "500 Proxy load failed (java.net.UnknownHostException) and object 
not found in cache" error message until I switch Mozilla to "direct 
internet connection".
