Hi,

i have a bad Mail problem with Mozilla, that happends only under OS/2.

Some friend and I all have their POP3 accounts at the german space
provider "Strato" and also use their SMTP.

When I try to send a BIG mail (e.g. with a attachment or a long text)
Mozilla hangs at 1% (most times) and doesn't go on.
If you save the file in draft, open it again and try tp send it, it
mostly fails.
If you write it new it's a 50:50 chance, that it goes out.

We all have the same problem from differne machines and different
Mozilla versions (mostly 1.0 (on RC2) and one 1.1b).
Under Windows you don't have the problem.

(Btw this is NOT the problem with Strato that you have to get mail
before sending then. That would cause en error message, but it may depend.)

To avoid the problem we tried to use the ISP SMTP. By I'm the only one
with a nice SMTP. All others get their eMail (sent) adresses replaced by
their eMail address at their ISP ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) what is unacceptable.

So I'm stuck and really need help. If their is a way of finding that
bug. Great.

If not, may be someone knows another SMTP they can use.

Ciao/2 Christoph

P.S.: Mike if you want to test it I can give you an eMail account to
try. Please mail me.
