Hi lifedata

Probably a silly question but where is Mozilla trying to load the
plugins from? - f:\profiles\mozilla\myid\stupidname.slt\plugins OR
\mozilla\bin\plugins

My reason for asking is that using 1.0 I recently noticed that the
about:plugins page displayed the wrong plugins. It was displaying a copy
of the plugins directory which is stored, as a backup, in my Mozilla
Home directory, J:\, rather than the working copies in
\mozilla\bin\plugins.

I am not sure when or how this happened but I noticed it when I did a
Java 131 update recently - what was immediately obvious was that the
Java plugin was the previous version.

I rectified the situation by deleting the
\mozilla\bin\mozilla\registry.dat file, moving the copy of the plugins
directory onto CDRW and Re Creating all of the Profiles.

Hope that suggests some answers.

Regards

Pete
