Sorry, but I think you've still not grasped quite what's going on here. You shouldn't look for the release info in the user agent, but the user agent does cause what Mozilla reports to be the release info to change. (This is after all the reason one changes the user agent: to try to fool sites which insist on Internet Exploder or Windoze that you've got what is needed.) Unfortunately someone has wired Mozilla up so that the user agent value doesn't just make Mozilla look like something else to a server - which is good - it also goes and reports itself wrong in About Mozilla too - which is stupid! Fortunately the workaround is simple: if using UABar, reset to the default user agent, and if not, remove the setting from prefs.js (or user.js) manually. Then look at About Mozilla, and finally revert to your preferred user agent setting. UABar makes it much easier as you can do it all without restarting Mozilla.
