The only thing I know that it can be solved by replacing the XUL.mfl in
the defective profiles by a clean one.

This error happends when mozilla changes or an addition is corruptive.
Like you install a new Mozilla and have the PreferenceToolbar installed.
Ithink it has something to do with, that you profile says to use that
chrome, but Mozilla can find it (get's angry) and destroys your XUM.mfl.

Well that's just a theroy.

Acctualy it happends some times when installing a new Mozilla (I always
have special chromes installed). And sometimes in between, like a few
Mozilla restarts after I installeed Preference Tolbar 2.0
