Only today I downloaded the installer. 1.2a (2002091211) installed
and seems to work better than 1.1 except for the annoying "do you want
to get plugin?" query in the Netbank secure section.

The installation crashed out the 1st time, after creating a new
folder, with some error about inability to process an XPI? (sorry I
didn't note the details) However, my 2nd try went thru fine. Double
click the new icon and up it came! The only thing that needed
adjustment was to make the fonts smaller.

I noted that Mike said that the reason why a lot of people had to go
back to 1.1b was that there was a serious regression? that somehow crept
into 1.1. Previously I wrote that I could leave Moz/2 and OS/2 up for
many days on ends but since 1.1 I got total freezes; never immediately,
but after at least overnight up-time. With kernel 14.091B_W4 freezes
happened more quickly than 14.062_W4. The freeze still happened with
14.062_W4 (3 days I think). (For me it has an up-time record of 30
days). Now the machine is running with 14.085_W4. I now shut down 1.1
overnight and I've had no more freezes or hangs for 5 days. (OS/2 is
Warp 4 + FP15).

Is that NS... bug gone? I will be leaving 1.2a up continually. Can
I expect freedom from freeze ups? :-)
