Are you using MOZILLA_HOME? Mozilla seems to always have had some very weird relationships between stuff in the Mozilla directory and the MOZILLA_HOME directory. I run profiles in a MOZILLA_HOME directory. Several times when I've worked on prefs.js, I've made a mistake. On the next run Mozilla pukes on MOZILLA_HOME, locks onto the profiles in the Mozilla directory and AIN'T NOTHIN' that will change its mind. Jim L Snip XX to Email T.R.
