Hi! Just wanted to drop a note that the two builds mentioned above are very stable for me. 2002091211 is, if I remember right, the 1.2a build. On my work machine, it's very good - Haven't restarted it since I got it. And I'm using both the browser part, mail and news. Heavily. However, 1.2a was extremely unstable on my laptop, so I installed a few nightlies until I found the 2002092008 build - which so far has been the most stable browser I've ever had on OS/2. I've thrown every old dirty trick at it to make it browse - Once I think I had about 200 tabs open across three browser windows, and it was still responsive and stable. Closed all of them except a few, and had it running for two days after that until I was forced to reboot for new drivers. I am using IMAP mail, a bit of news (like here), and the browsing part.
Just filed a recommendation that we upgrade from Netscape 4.61 to Mozilla across the board here - given the fact that people tend to be conservative it is far from certain it will go through, but in any case I'm gonna give it a real good test on, if I'm lucky, a few hundred or even thousand machines. If anyone has any insight in or experience with large-scale rollouts of Mozilla (OS/2 and Windows platforms) I'd greatly appreciate any input. Best regards, Eirik Oeverby
