I don't know how the world got into the habit of using broken version
numbers. The first bugfix release should be 6.0.1, shouldn't it? Basing
these things on padding rather than separators seems pretty dubious, at
least to me.

I do agree that I can't see Netscape release a minor feature update (6.1)
yet. I wouldn't mind Netscape putting out 6.0.x releases every couple
weeks though, with a 6.y.0 release whenever significant new features are
added. We all know that N6 is horrendous, and the best thing they can do
to recover is to show that they are continuing to work on improving it.
