I ran the  Bandwidth Speed Test  comparing Netscape 4.76 with Mozilla Nightly (Dec 26th) using a B/W G3-350 Mac using 8.6, @Home cable modem and received these results:

NS 4.76                                                            Mozilla nightly (Dec. 26)
Average of 15 samples             968.5 kbps/ 118 k bytes/sec                               1288.8 kbps/ 147.9 k bytes/sec

Highest of 15
        samples                            1510.6 kbps/ 185.1 k bytes/sec                          1662.6 kpbs/ 203.7 k bytes/sec

Lowest of 15
        samples                            498.8 kbps/ 61.1 k bytes/sec                                696.2 kbps/ 85.3 k bytes/sec

I took the NS 4.76 samples first, then launched Mozilla and took its samples within ten minutes.

Am I correct to conclude that Mozilla handles high speed internet more efficiently than Netscape ?
If I ran the test again would Mozilla better Netscape? Does this sort of test show Mozilla is better at handling high speed internet?
