If you had gone to the effort to download 7.5Mb of Java wouldn't you want
Mozilla to make an effort to use it? You can always turn off Java in
Mozilla.
There is an effort going on to avoid starting Java with the browser
everytime and instead wait until it is used, if that's what you're talking
about.
