I know on the Mac I simply make a copy of my "Bookmarks.html" found in my
preferences folder called Netscape Users. I transfer this file to the Mozilla
Folder in the Documents folder in the Systems folder replacing the
Bookmarks.html file Mozilla placed there. Remember to delete the word "copy of"
from the duplicate of your Netscape Bookmarks before you replace you Mozilla
bookmark file.

Always have a copy of you bookmarks ready as well. Mozilla is still beta
software. A short while back some people had there bookmarks rendered
unreadable by Mozilla and the Netscape bookmark file was damaged by Mozilla.

If you were one of the unfortunates who lost bookmarks in this manner (as I
did) I found a way to recover them. First you must find the Bookmark file that
was damaged on your hard disk. Open the file with a program that can read text
files. At the end of your list of bookmarks (in html format) will be a long
list of garbage text. Remove the garbage text leaving only your bookmarks coded
in HTML and save the file as text with the file name "bookmarks.html. Put this
file in you Netscape or Mozilla user preferences folder and you should have
repaired the lost file. I hope this helps.
