here is the drill for 0.8.1...

-complete the virus scanning.   looks like this will finish up in the
wee hours Fri. morn.

-open the tree for the list of around 10 fix ups that are in hand in the
list below.
   -get the go ahead from drivers if your on this list.
   -leaf will be opening the tree or approved checkin's shortly.

-spin builds what could be the last 0.8.1 from the trunk on Friday
morning.

-if the Friday morning builds look good move forward with branching.

we are trying to track hewitt down now to figure out which side of the
branch for him to land now.
