We got about 1/2 way.
Some installer bustage and a few other problems delayed
smoketesting and getting to a branch as soon as we wanted.
The list of bugs is also a bit bigger than we really wanted
to cut the branch as well. We were able to get the branch
work out of the way so this will save us some time on Monday.
The branch work is wrapping up in the next few hours.
So here is what we are going to do for the weekend.
We want to keep the trunk stable for at least the weekend
while we get a bit more testing and bug fixing on the trunk and branch.
If you have fixes that are critical to mozilla 0.9.2 and are ready to
go send mail for approval for check in to trunk and branch for this
weekend. Then make sure you get checked in on both trunk
and branch.
Here is the list we are really interested in knocking out tonight and
over the weekend.
Monday after trunk verfications the trunk will open with no driver
approval.

Many of these bugs have fixes in hand and should get checked in tonight.
If verfication builds look good and there are no smoketest blockers
on the Friday morning builds the build team will start the 0.9.2 branching
on Friday. If there are problems we will most likely spill over and do the
branch on Monday.
The goal is to complete the branch on Friday and release mozilla 0.9.2
some where around Wed. or Thurs. of next week when the final
critical fixes have landed.
Netscape will continue to do some work on this branch after the mozilla
0.9.2 release has gone out for an upcoming release they are planning.
