Not if it's a diff rather than a CVS diff. Either can be applied to a 
code tree with no problems. Yes, you wouldn't know what version the diff 
was originally against, but as they shouldn't be sitting in Bugzilla for 
months, this hopefully wouldn't be too much of a problem.
