I'm currently making a small webpage describing all the files in your profile directory, what they contain and are good for.
But I need some help with some of them: The "chrome" directory. What does it contain and why? The "cert7.db" file. Does it contain you personal cert or other? Server? The "key3.db" file? Some security stuff, but what? The "secmod.db" file? More security stuff, but what? The "localstore.rdf" file? some cache? The "mimeTypes.rdf" file? what to do with mimetypes? The "panacea.dat" file? more cache? The "panels.rdf" file? my sidebar panels?
