We are developing a PKCS#11 plugin for Netscape Communicator which is written in C++ using exceptions. Our development platform is Linux i86 (SuSE 7.0). Our problem is that Netscape crashes when an exception is thrown. This does not happen when we load the shared library within a C++ test program. We have tested it with version 4.74 and 4.75 so far. Does anyone know whether throwing exceptions in C++ shared libraries cannot be handled by C programs (which I assume Communicator is). -- Heiko Nardmann (Dipl.-Ing.), [EMAIL PROTECTED], Software Development secunet Security Networks AG - Sicherheit in Netzwerken (www.secunet.de), Weidenauer Str. 223-225, D-57076 Siegen Tel. : +49 271 48950-13, Fax : +49 271 48950-50
