Hi,
we are using Netscape Enterprise Server 3.6 on SunSolaris..
As a SSL renewal process we ordered a new Global ID from Verisign..
before the renewal process we had key and cert.db files as named
yky_301199-cert.db
yky_301199-key.db
with the date of 30,Dec,1999 and the alias is yky_301199
we tried to renewed the certificate in our server ..we used the same
alias as yky_301199...
after we did this renewal process ,now at the server we see the .db files
as:
yky_301199-cert.db with the date of 23,Nov,2000
yky_301199-key.db with the date of 30,Dec,1999
as u can see the cert.db file has been updated ..
also from the web server when we did "manage the ceritficate" and we
chose the yky_301199 alias the result is :
"This Certificate is valid from Tue Nov 21, 2000 to Thu Dec 6, 2001"
as u see the new certificate seems to be installed on the server but when
we view the certificate on the web page that is using this certificate we
see that :
"This Certificate is valid from Mon Dec 06, 1999 to Wed Dec 06,
2000"
it still sees the old one ..
my question is that will the renewed certificate can be seen after the old
one expired ( on 6th of December ) or did we do something wrong while
renewing in our server ?
