Hi, [some words about the current Mozilla security bug policy and its "implementation"]
Full ACK. Just for an example: some friends of mine (computer science students, not "normal" users) still use Mozilla 1.0 on their machines. They don't upgrade because they don't know anything about the security bugs that were found until then. That's really sad :( As a sidenote: when I recommend Mozilla to relatives or friends (and until now _nearly everyone_ switched to using it afterwards) I usually show them all those nice and beautiful features, but end up with the sentence (well, usually in German ;): "But there is one thing that really sucks: The security bug policy". So, I hope I can forget the last sentence in the future :) Sven. -- BOFH excuse of the day: We need a licensed electrician to replace the light bulbs in the computer room. _______________________________________________ Mozilla-security mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.mozilla.org/listinfo/mozilla-security
