Actually I meant to comment on this specifically before... For starters they got slashdotted, which is an extensive community of above average users (although with some of the brain dead comments you really have to wonder) yet you're implying the average user wants security, if that were the case they would have had more then 100,000 downloads for MS IE... Also most slashdot users are likely to have access to multiple computers, so again numbers of downloads can't directly relate to users... Also the implication here is downloads implying usage, I'm one of the 60,000 but it's no longer being used, a closer indication would be the unique IPs per hour on average over a 24 hour period... So while they may have been downloads, how many copies are still in use? -- Best regards, Duane http://www.cacert.org - Free Security Certificates http://www.nodedb.com - Think globally, network locally http://www.sydneywireless.com - Telecommunications Freedom http://happysnapper.com.au - Sell your photos over the net! http://e164.org - Using Enum.164 to interconnect asterisk servers "In the long run the pessimist may be proved right, but the optimist has a better time on the trip." _______________________________________________ Mozilla-security mailing list [email protected] http://mail.mozilla.org/listinfo/mozilla-security
