Has anyone integrated Apache with XPCOM

I think it would be a good idea to connect XPCOM behind Apache so components
could be connected as handlers (mod_xpcom?). Just curious as to whether
anyone has already done this and if so is the source available. Otherwise I
might attempt this when I find some free time.
