automatic component startup needed

Hello, developpers.
I wrote a component in C++ and got it functioning from JavaScript,
but I want to start my component automatically when the browser starts up.

Where (how?) should I register it?

Do I have to deal with nsCategoryManager?

There are very few docs about this kind of things, please help!
Most of all I miss all possible categories list.
