Thanks for your answer. I got confused by reading XPCOM plugins are
deprecated. Are you saying that developer should stick to NS 4.X style
plugin APIs?.

I went to the web page and it talks about introducing XPConnect Script
support for NS 4.X style plugin running under Gecko browsers. If I support
XPConnect, will it be supported for on IE/Mac?. A side qn, Did IE support
LiveConnect for NS 4.X plugin?
