Very well, I have taken the source code from http://lxr.mozilla.org/seamonkey/source/embedding/qa/jstests/nsIWebBrowserPersistTest1.txt
And it works. It saves http://www.mozilla.org like a charm. Then, I try different sites. yahoo saves fine, but google and slashdot return some strange binary-looking information. The ONLY change done was on the line url = "http://www.mozilla.org"; where I replaced it with the desired url, of course. Does anyone know why this won't work with google, but will with some other sites? And how to get around that problem? Obviously Mozilla/Phoenix have to do it somehow, if I just go File, Save Page As, the page is always saved perfectly. So, in short, how to save a page without a prompt (page is in cache if it helps)? Thanks -mccrowe Using Windows 2000, Phoenix 0.5 Hotmail e-mail is not fake, but is never checked. I have an account at yahoo.com.br, username: mirimiribr
