Which wouldn't help, IMHO, as deleting the component registry and thus forcing a clean autoreg does fix problems every now and then. Esp in situations where people have a configuration (extension/component history) that is hard to reproduce on the QA side.
Axel, we should fix the installation/extension story instead.
